About Shirley O. Kauffman PhD.

Shirley's passion as a Marriage and  Family Counselor is to help people get through the challenges they face, improve relationships and face the future with a renewed sense of hope and optimism.  Many of her counseling specialties blossomed from her own challenges and those of people close to her which bring an added layer of compassion and understanding to her clients.

With sensitivity and focus she works with each client to help them build on their strengths.  Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help resolve current problems. She blends conventional and alternatives approaches and draws upon a variety of styles and techniques including "Psychodynamic", "Insight Oriented" and "Cognitive Behavioral" therapies to incorporate what will be most beneficial for each client.

She is a member of the  American Association of Christian Counselors.  Her values and beliefs are part of who she is and how she works with her clients.
